Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 August 2026

This page is maintained by the TradeSignal team and explains what data we handle when you use TradeSignal. It is written in plain English rather than legal boilerplate. For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@azuni.world.

Who we are

TradeSignal is an AI visibility platform for UK trade businesses. We are the data controller for account data you give us, and a data processor for the customer contact details you upload or enter in order to send review requests.

What we collect

  • Account details: your name, email address, business name and trade type.
  • Business profile data you enter: services, FAQs, your Google Business Profile link and checklist progress.
  • Customer details you enter to send a review request: name, and a mobile number or email address.
  • Message records: what was sent, when, and whether it was delivered or failed.
  • Billing data: subscription status and identifiers. Card details are handled by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.
  • Product analytics: pages viewed and key actions taken in the app, used to improve the product.

Why we use it

To provide the service you signed up for (contract), to run and improve the product and keep it secure (legitimate interests), and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell your data or your customers' data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Your customers' data

When you send a review request through TradeSignal, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to contact that person. We send only the message you trigger, and we stop on request. Ask us and we will delete a specific contact's records.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the service: Supabase (database and authentication, hosted in the EU), Twilio (SMS delivery), Resend (email delivery), Stripe (payments), PostHog (product analytics) and our hosting platform. Each processes data only to deliver its part of the service.

How long we keep it

Account and business data is kept while your account is active and for up to 90 days after you close it, unless we must keep records longer for tax or legal reasons (typically six years for invoices). Message logs are kept for 24 months.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our hosting and database providers. Access to production data is restricted to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim any certification — if we discover a breach affecting your data, we will tell you.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or ask for it in a portable format. Email privacy@azuni.world and we will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

We use cookies and similar storage that are necessary to keep you signed in, plus product analytics to understand how the app is used. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Changes and contact

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. General questions: hello@azuni.world. See also our Terms & Conditions.
