Google Business Profile checker

Eight quick questions about your own listing. You get a score and a plain-English fix list straight away. Nothing is saved and we don't ask for your email.

Not sure what a Google Business Profile is?

It's the free listing Google shows when someone searches your business name or "electrician near me" — the panel with your phone number, opening hours, photos, reviews and a map pin. It is not your website. Most trades have one whether they set it up or not, because Google creates them automatically.

To see yours: search your business name plus your town on Google. If a panel appears with your details, that's it. If it says "Own this business?", nobody has claimed it yet — that's your first job.

Your 8 questions

  1. 1. Have you claimed your Google Business Profile?

That's the box with your business name, phone and map pin that shows up on the right of Google search. Claimed means you've verified you own it.

  2. 2. Have you added a photo in the last 30 days?

Photos of finished jobs, your van, your team. Google treats new photos as a sign the business is active.

  3. 3. Is your full list of services on the profile?

Not just 'Electrician' — the actual jobs: consumer unit upgrades, EV chargers, EICR reports, rewires.

  4. 4. Does the description say what you do and where you cover?

A short paragraph naming your trade and your towns.

  5. 5. Are your opening hours correct, including bank holidays?

Wrong hours cost you calls and make Google trust the listing less.

  6. 6. Have you had a new review in the last 30 days?

Steady recent reviews beat a pile of old ones.

  7. 7. Do you reply to every review, good and bad?

A short, calm reply — especially to a bad one — is read by every future customer.

  8. 8. Have you posted an update in the last 30 days?

The 'Updates' or 'Posts' section — a finished job, an offer, an availability note.

Want us to do it? Add us as a manager

You never give us your password. Google has a built-in way to let someone help with your listing: you add them as a Manager. They can update photos, services and posts, and reply to reviews. They cannot delete the listing or remove you, and you can take the access away in two taps whenever you like.

On your phone (easiest)

  1. Open the Google app, or search Google for your own business name while signed in.
  2. Tap the Edit profile / your business panel that appears at the top.
  3. Tap the three dots or Settings, then People and access.
  4. Tap Add, type our email, choose Manager, then Invite.
  5. We accept the invite by email — nothing else needed from you.

On a computer

  1. Sign in to Google with the account that owns the business, and search your business name.
  2. In the management panel, open Settings and support → People and access.
  3. Click Add, enter our email, set the role to Manager, and send.

Don't know if you own the listing, or can't find these menus? That's normal and it's the most common blocker. Email hello@azuni.world with your business name and town. We'll look it up, tell you whether it's claimed, and walk you through claiming or inviting us on a short call — screen-share if that's easier.

You stay the owner throughout. No passwords change hands, and removing our access takes seconds — same menu, tap our name, Remove.
